Woodworking

Woodworking for Yachts

We boat lovers do like wood.  Even with an all fiberglass yacht, interiors and certain exterior features are best done in properly chosen, fitted and finished tree flesh.  Wood is lovely on a boat, but is subject to the rigors of marine life. It loosens, it splits, the finish falls off, it damages or stains or eventually, fails.

Are You Having Any Of These Issues?

Physical Damage.  Something came loose or was hit by something else.

Water Damage.  Ports or hatches leaked, staining or rotting panels or floors.

Age.  Finish needs freshening, or if necessary, replacing.  Stained, damaged or rotted pieces need to be fabricated of the proper wood and fitted.

New Work.  Equipment changes, galley remodels, tables, doors, lockers.

We Can Help

Mike has been a woodworker, (or wood-butcher, as he calls it) since adolescence.  Almost any damage can be repaired appropriately, large areas replaced, accommodations made.  Common repairs are to rub and toe rails, railings, doors and cabinets.
